Why isn't my discount code working?
Discount codes, promo codes and reward codes cannot be combined. In order to offer the best discounts, free shipping and free samples on our orders, we can only allow for one promotional code per order.
Many of our brand partners do not allow discounting. When we work with our brand partners, we usually try to offer you an exclusive deal, whether that's a free gift with purchase, bonus samples or rewards.
Can I use my loyaly rewards with a discount code?
Only one or the other can us be used on an order. We often see customers save reward coupons for smaller orders or if there isn't a site wide discount

How do I determine my skin type?
Determining your skin type is an important step in choosing the right skincare products. Here's a simple guide to help you figure it out:
1. Cleanse Your Face:
- Wash your face with a gentle cleanser to remove any makeup, oils, or impurities. Avoid using any products that might dry out or hydrate your skin, as you want your skin to be in its natural state.
2. Wait for 1 Hour:
- After cleansing, let your skin rest for about an hour. Don’t apply anything to it during this time, so you can see how it behaves naturally.
3. Assess How Your Skin Feels:
Pay attention to how your skin feels in different areas:
- Oily Skin: If your face feels greasy or shiny, especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin), you likely have oily skin.
- Dry Skin: If your face feels tight, flaky, or rough, especially on the cheeks and around the eyes, you might have dry skin.
- Combination Skin: If you notice oiliness in the T-zone but dryness or flakiness on the cheeks, you probably have combination skin.
- Normal Skin: If your skin feels balanced—not too dry or oily, and there are no noticeable dry patches or excess shine, you likely have normal skin.
4. Check for Pores:
- Look closely at your skin and check the size of your pores.
- Large pores can be a sign of oily skin.
- Small pores may indicate normal or dry skin.
5. Additional Tests:
If you want to be more precise, you can try a blotting paper test:
- Gently press a blotting paper on different parts of your face (T-zone, cheeks, chin).
- If the paper picks up a lot of oil, you have oily skin.
- If there's little to no oil, you likely have dry or normal skin.
Skin Type Categories:
- Oily: Greasy shine, enlarged pores, prone to breakouts.
- Dry: Tight, flaky, dull appearance, or redness.
- Combination: Oily in some areas (T-zone), dry in others (cheeks).
Normal: Balanced, not too dry or oily, clear complexion.

How do I track my order?
Tracking information will be sent to the email address on your order when your order is filled. Your email will contain a carrier link to track your package. Please note that your tracking number will not update until it is picked up by the carrier and is in transit with them, so we always recommend waiting 48 hours for updates as you may receive your tracking number a few days before the tracking updates. The carriers will have the most up to date information on tracking information if you are noticing that it states there is any kind of delay on your package.
Does Skin Truth ship internationally?
Outside of the U.S., we currently only ship to Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, UK, and Sweden. Non-U.S. customers will be responsible for paying duties and taxes upon receipt of their shipment. We do not charge duties or taxes on checkout.
We do not accept refunds on any international orders. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
If the shipment is marked as undeliverable, is returned to sender, or you do not pay duties and taxes, 20% of the order value and shipping fees will be excluded from your refund to cover our restocking fee.
Can I make changes or cancel my order?
We pride ourselves on our extremely fast shipping at Skin Truth with most orders shipping without 24-28 hours of your purchase. If you need to make a change to your order or cancel it altogether, contact us as soon as possible.
If your order has not shipped yet, we would be happy to help you to see if we can make any requested changes. If your order has already shipped and you still need to make a change or cancel it, you will need to contact us once you receive the order to request a return.
Can I place an order over the phone?
While we do not currenlty offer phone support, our Customer Service team is always on hand to provide support and guidance via email. All orders have to be placed online, but we are more than happy to help you with the process.
Why isn't the pump on my product working?
You may experience this with products that use an "airless pump" which is a very common bottle type in products. Airless pump dispensers utilize a vacuum system to dispense and keep the product fresh. Airless packaging helps to keep air and contaminates out of the product, which enhances the formula's stability and effectiveness. When using the product for the first time, you may need to "prime" the dispenser. There is a disk that pushes the product to the top which can become stuck, and you may need to bang the bottom of the bottle 3-4 times on a flat-hard surface to loosen the disk, then pump the dispenser slowly about 15-20 times upside down. After it starts pumping you can pump right side up as normal. if the dispenser stops working at any time, simply repeat the "priming" steps. We do not recommend attempting to dismantle the package. If priming does not work, turn your product over to find a very small hole at the bottom of the bottle. Try inserting a paper clip into this hole to raise the disk of the product and trigger the pump.

Shipping Options: Choose from standard, expedited, or priority shipping at checkout.
Shipping Fees: Free shipping is available on orders over $50. International Shipping costs are calculated based on your location.
Returns
We want you to love every product you purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, we offer a 30-day return policy.
Return Period: You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return an item.
Condition of Products: To qualify for a return, items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
Return Process: Please contact us to begin the return process.
Incorrect Item Received
If you receive the incorrect product in your order, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will provide you with a return label via email to ship the product back to us. Once we receive the returned product, we will immediately inspect and ship the correct product to you.
Returned products must be unopened and unused. If a product is returned opened and/or used, we are no longer obligated to ship the correct product.
We aim to provide the best service possible but we can sometimes make a mistake and send you the wrong product. It’s never our intention to disappoint our customers and offer our sincerest apologies if this ever happens.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately with your order details, and we will assist.
