Order Processing

We ship via UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL.

  • Expedited orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–2 business days.

  • Standard orders containing in-stock items generally ship within 1–3 business days.

  • Please note that orders containing high-demand or backordered products may require additional processing time.

Important Shipping Information

Processing times may be extended during promotional events, product launches, holidays, and other periods of high order volume. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these busy times.

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Most U.S. orders arrive within 5–10 business days after shipment, though transit times may vary depending on carrier performance, destination, weekends, holidays, and other factors outside our control.

Delivery & Carrier Responsibility

While we strive to ensure timely delivery, Skin Truth is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, transportation disruptions, postal errors, supply chain issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, Skin Truth's fulfillment responsibility has been completed. If you experience an issue with a delivered package, including loss or theft, please contact the shipping carrier directly to initiate a claim or investigation.

We are always happy to assist with tracking questions and will do our best to help whenever possible.

Incorrect Shipping Address

Please carefully review your shipping address before submitting your order. Skin Truth is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided at checkout and is unable to offer refunds or complimentary reshipments in these situations.

If an order is returned to us as undeliverable or returned to sender due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, the customer will be responsible for a $10 reshipment fee to have the package sent again.

If you choose not to have the order reshipped and would prefer a refund, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount to cover processing, handling, and restocking costs.

We appreciate your understanding and encourage all customers to verify their shipping information carefully before placing an order.

Missing Packages & Package Protection

If your tracking information shows that your package has been delivered but you are unable to locate it, we kindly ask that you allow an additional 1 business day before contacting us. In some cases, carriers may mark a package as delivered prior to its actual arrival.

If your package still cannot be located after this period, we recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly to initiate a trace or investigation. Unfortunately, Skin Truth is unable to provide refunds for packages that are marked as delivered by the carrier.

Package Protection

To provide additional peace of mind, Skin Truth offers Package Protection powered by Corso at checkout. This optional coverage protects eligible orders against loss, theft, or damage during transit.

Customers who purchase Package Protection may file a claim if their package is:

  • Lost in transit

  • Stolen after delivery

  • Damaged during shipping

Customers who decline Package Protection assume responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage that occurs after the package has been shipped.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, responsibility for the shipment passes to the carrier and recipient. Skin Truth is not responsible for lost or stolen packages that have been successfully delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout.

Incorrect Items Received

If you receive an incorrect item in your order, please contact us within 2 days of delivery so that we can promptly assist you.

Once notified, our team will provide a prepaid return shipping label. After the incorrect item has been returned and received by our warehouse, we will inspect the product and promptly ship the correct item to you.

To be eligible for replacement, the incorrect item must be:

  • Unopened

  • Unused

  • Returned in its original condition

If an incorrectly shipped item is opened, used, or altered, Skin Truth reserves the right to deny the replacement request.

At Skin Truth, we take great pride in the accuracy of our order fulfillment process. While mistakes are rare, we understand how frustrating it can be to receive the wrong product. If an error occurs, please know that we are committed to resolving the issue as quickly as possible and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Defective or Damaged Product (USA ONLY)

If a product exchange needs to be made due to a defect, please email us at support@skintruth.com within 24 hours of receipt to notify us of the defect. Skin Truth will issue a return label, and the original product MUST be mailed back to the return address. A replacement will be sent to you when the original has been received and inspected by Skin Truth. This process can take up to 7 business days. Notification of a product defect after the 24-hour period renders the product ineligible for return or exchange. Skin Truth reserves the right to charge a reshipment fee.

Refused Packages

Orders returned to us because they were refused are subject to a credit on account after the return has reached us and is deemed unopened and in sellable condition.

A fee of $20 for postage and transaction fees will be deducted from the credit. The package can be reshipped after the postage has been paid.

Freight Forwarding Services

If you ship your order to a freight forwarding company, Skin Truth cannot be held liable for any transaction with the forwarding company. Once delivery is confirmed by the carrier, Skin Truth will no longer be liable for the package. If you purchased Corso, their coverage only extends to the shipping address on your order, not any location where it may be forwarded to. Please be aware that items purchased from Skin Truth are only warranted within the United States. All sales to freight forwarders are final. Skin Truth is not liable for any issues from a freight forwarding company.

International Shipping

Outside of the U.S., we currently only ship to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and UK. Non-U.S. customers will be responsible for paying duties and taxes upon receipt of their shipment. We do not charge duties or taxes on checkout.

We do not accept refunds on any international orders. ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

If the shipment is marked as undeliverable, is returned to sender, or you do not pay duties and taxes, 20% of the order value and shipping fees will be excluded from your refund to cover our restocking fee.

Return Policy (USA ONLY)

Skin Truth is dedicated to bringing you the best in beauty. If you are not completely satisfied with a product for any reason, we accept up to 3 returns within 30 days of the PURCHASE date in a 365 day time period. EXCEPTIONS TO THIS ARE LISTED BELOW.

Products must be SEALED and in LIKE NEW CONDITION for a refund. We have the right to refuse any return if the package and product is not in proper condition.

OPENED individual items may be returned for store credit only. These products must be received to our warehouse within 30 days of purchase.

After three returns, you may make another one once 365 days have passed from the date each individual return or was processed.

Returned OPENED products may not be altered and must contain over 50% of the product. We reserve the right to deny the return if the item is not within these guidelines.

When you return an unopened product, you may receive a full refund credited to your original payment method once your return has been approved and processed. Alternatively, you may choose to receive store credit, which will be automatically applied to your Skin Truth account. Please note open returns are eligible for store credit only

Reward points and Store Credits are non-refundable for returned items.

You should expect to receive your refund within three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you receive an Omnilux device that is defective, you must contact Omnilux directly for a replacement

Free Gifts

Any free gifts with purchase must be included with your return, unopened and unused. If the free gift is NOT included with your return or has been opened or used, a minimum fee of $15 up to the maximum value of the gift with purchase will be deducted from your refund or store credit.

Please email support@skintruth.com to receive approval for your return BEFORE mailing your item back. Once approved, you may send your return to the address below within 30 days of your purchase date. Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs. We accept 3 total returns within a 365 day period.

Terms

If any provision of these Terms of Use is held to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, then such provision shall be severable without affecting the enforceability of all remaining provisions. Skin Truth reserves the right to alter or delete materials from this Site at any time and at its own discretion.

This website claims no credit for any images posted on this site unless otherwise noted. Images on this site are copyright to its respectful owners.
