An exfoliating cleanser for normal to oily skin

 

As your skin ages, cellular turnover slows. This can lead to a buildup of dead skin, which accentuates wrinkles and can cause skin to appear older than it actually is. This deeply exfoliating cleanser uses time-tested glycolic acid to slough away dead skin buildup and reveal the healthier skin underneath. We balance the effects of the exfoliation with glycerin and sodium PCA, powerful humectants and skin calming ingredients, and hyaluronic acid to help support the natural barrier and help retain moisture. As an added benefit, the removal of dead skin allows the products that follow to more easily absorb and work more efficiently.

Directions

Frequency: Use up to three times per week.

Morning: Use before - Targeted treatments, masks, serums and moisturizers

Evening: Use before - Targeted treatments, masks, serums and moisturizers

Apply one to two pumps on damp skin. Rinse thoroughly with cool water. May be used up to three times per week. If excess dryness or irritation occurs, use less frequently or discontinue use.

Tips:

  • If you’re new to glycolic acid, start slowly. Begin by using Glycolic Citrus Cleanser every other day and monitor your skin’s response. If excess dryness or irritation occurs, cut back the frequency of use and then build to using it every other day.
  • To help fade the look of dark spots, follow with Vita C Serum.
  • Use as part of a dual cleansing sequence as the second cleanse. To boost skin smoothing and brightening, pair with Lemon Cream Cleanser as the first cleanse.
