Retinol face cream for advanced users

Retinol 1.0 is a high-concentration pure retinol cream for experienced retinol users to improve the appearance of visible signs of aging and pores, while minimizing breakouts.

Retinol 1.0 is ideal for problematic and sun-damaged skin that has been preconditioned with the use of Retinol 0.5. Formulated with the highest concentration of 1.0% pure retinol, this night cream is enhanced with the latest stabilization and delivery technologies to ensure a steady, even release of the maximum available concentration. Retinol 1.0 is proven to diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and skin discoloration while minimizing breakouts and the appearance of pores.

  • Pure retinol exfoliates to soften and smooth skin by reducing enzymes that breakdown collagen
  • Bisabolol calms and soothes skin to minimize irritation and inflammation

Directions

Prep + Dispense

In the evening, apply a pea size amount to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Allow product to absorb before applying other skincare products. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night, then every night as tolerated. It is recommended for new users to start with Retinol 0.3 to establish skin tolerance.

Apply + Complete

Retinol may increase photosensitivity. Always use a high-protection, broad spectrum sunscreen when using retinol cream.

As a precaution, retinol face creams should not be used by pregnant women or women who intend to become pregnant in the near future. Though there are no reports of topical retinol having any negative effect on fetal development, always consult a physician.

FAQ

Is 1% retinol a lot? Retinol 1.0 is the highest concentration of retinol cream available. Users should establish skin tolerance by starting with Retinol 0.3 then working up to Retinol 1.0.

What is Retinol 1.0 used for? Retinol 1.0 is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone by improving cellular turnover. Using retinol face cream will also minimize breakouts and improve the appearance of pores.

Can I go straight to 1% Retinol? It is recommended that users begin with lower-concentration retinol creams with Retinol 0.3 and then to Retinol 0.5 to establish skin tolerance and avoid irritation.

Can Retinol 1.0 be used daily? Retinol 1.0 can be used daily. It is recommended that users start by applying retinol face cream once or twice weekly, then work up to more frequent applications to reduce skin irritation. For a more comfortable retinoid treatment experience, pair Retinol 1.0 with Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 to help shorten the retinoid adjustment period, improve tolerability, and decrease skin dryness.

When should I apply a retinol cream in my skincare regimen? In the evening, apply Retinol 1.0 after cleansing the skin and applying a nighttime antioxidant serum, such as SkinCeuticals Resveratrol B E, and follow with a moisturizer. Retinol may increase photosensitivity. Always use a high-protection, broad spectrum sunscreen in the daytime when using this product.
