Re-apply at least every two hours or after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating. Re-apply immediately after any towel drying or at least every two hours.

Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad-Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:

Is Physical Fusion UV Defense zinc oxide sunscreen waterproof? It is water resistant, not waterproof. It is recommended to reapply Physical Fusion UV Defense at least every two hours, after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying.

Physical and mineral sunscreens are the same because they utilize physical mineral barriers to provide broad spectrum sun protection by deflecting the sun’s harmful UVA/UVB rays.

Is sunscreen with zinc oxide safe? Yes. Zinc Oxide is found in mineral (also called physical) sunscreens and is considered safe and effective, even when applied to sensitive skin.

Does zinc oxide dry out your skin? While zinc oxide is very effective as a physical barrier to the sun’s damaging rays, it is an astringent which can be drying to the skin. If dry skin is a concern, look for sunscreens that have hydrating ingredients, such as glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and ceramides.
